This was a quick and simple logo I made for John Miller IV at the African American Cultural Center at NC State. He asked me if I could whip up a header for that years Kwanzaa celebration, and I obliged him. For whatever reason I just had a Saul Bass'y image pop into my head and this is what I came up with. We used the Sankofa from our Adinkra symbol project in the middle there. Hurray synergy!
