Little Red Cap
Program/Medium: Photoshop (Wacom Tablet), Pencils, and Pens
Client: College Assignment (Illustration and Interactive Studio)
We were assigned to choose a Grimm's Fairy Tale and had to make a children's book around it. I picked Little Red Cap (aka Little Red Riding Hood) and decided to tell it in a comic book-esque manner while sticking pretty much directly to the prose. My drawing style (DENSE) and the time I had available to me (full time jobs and full time "design" school sometimes don't go together so well) for the project sadly didn't mesh well and I didn't finish. That's on me, and a lesson was learned in time management. I want to say I'll complete it, but I think it's best to move on with what I've picked up and put that toward new things. I have it up here so you can get an idea of how I tell stories visually, so I hope it at least helps with that.
